about

Anyone who has lived in San Francisco's Mission District knows this dance. It is the dance of "do I walk, or do I wait for the bus?" You look, you don't see it, you start walking, then all of a sudden the bus is right up on you and you have to run to get it, maybe, hopefully. This Scherzo was inspired by this experience, the feeling of which is made all the more intense if you actually have to be somewhere.
