about

this is another from the Wally sessions. The more straight forward mix. Perhaps with a glimmer of hope. I liked this one too and wanted to include it in this collection.

lyrics

Submarines don't make a sound
when you're lying on the beach
so be grateful that the wind will overwhelm your breath.
Satellites won't disturb your dreams
when you're lying fast asleep
and it's okay if you can't hear them,
in fact, it's better that way-

Don't you want to be lonely sometimes?

Diving bell, half full, half empty.
There's someone down there always.
It's okay if you can't hear it when it's pounding in your chest.
There's a light you can cling to
in your most desperate moments.
Fuck the light, here's the darkness;
there's someone always out to save your soul-

but don't you want to be lonely sometimes?
